The LORD God Almighty Reigns!  As followers of Messiah the Prince we trust our present lives and eternal destinies to Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood - Jesus.  He was born in Bethlehem, reared in Nazareth, baptized in the Jordan river, and tempted in the wilderness of Judea.  Jesus taught, healed, debated, touched and blessed the people of the land as he raised up an army of radical love throughout Israel.  Although He lived a perfect life of obedience to God His Father, He was put to death by execution outside Jerusalem by the Roman empire and the Jewish nation - Yet death could not hold Him!  The Father raised him, the Spirit vindicated Him and He took to Himself His great power and began to reign from heaven over all the kingdoms of the earth.  He has all authority in heaven and on earth and in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments He has given us all the information necessary for life and godliness.  The Bible is the all-sufficient Word of God.  When the Church is empowered and enlightened by the Spirit of God, She can carry out her task of bringing all peoples to the obedience of faith. At Fairmount, as one congregation of the international body of Christ, we  have an exciting assignment to fulfill in God's unfolding plan here in Western Pennsylvania and to the uttermost parts of the earth.

We have discovered that there is new life by the grace of God for any person who admits their violation of what God has created them to be, who realizes their brokenness and need, and turns to the Lord Jesus Christ to rescue them.  God gives power to His people so that they can live in a way that pleases Him as He transforms them and their families into the kind of people the world so desperately needs - persons who bring justice, goodness and wholeness to reality as they share the good news of a living Redeemer.  Bondage to destructive patterns of life is broken.  Reconciliation replaces rebellion. Our deep guilt is forgiven, while our shame is removed by the kindness and love of our merciful Lord.  God loves His world, and His people and He calls you to experience His abundant life! We invite you to visit Fairmount any Sunday morning at 9:45 AM to join us as we embrace the glorious promises of new life in Jesus Christ.  And, come and bring the kids.
